Thursday of last week my friend Tegan ran into my office and told me that Garth Brooks was at Walmart in Waveland (the sister of another girl at work called and told her this). So I was pretty excited, but still I was thinking "yeah right why would he be here". So, feeling a little silly, I left work with Tegan in the middle of the day to drive down and see for our selves. We got there and there was a crowd of about 30-40 people hovering around. We were so excited, my hands were shaking, we parked the car right where it was an ran to get into the circle to see if it was really him. And there he was Garth Brooks himself. He was listening to peoples stories, and when we thanked him for doing this he said that it was the least that he could do. He was so down to earth and really nice!! Anyway, the top picture is me and Garth although you can't see him real well because of the sun, the second picture is Tegan and Garth, you can make him out in this one better. On our way back to work we were both on our cell phones making excited phone calls. It was awesome!!

Lately

I know it has been a while since I posted, but I have just been so busy lately. We put up a shed in our back yard a couple weekends ago. No progress on the fence or the tile in our bedroom, but at least something is getting done. We can't even get the fence guy to call us to schedule a time to look at it so that he can give us a quote. So frustrating. Maybe I will get that fence put up in time for another Hurricane to come and knock it over again!! Ok, so I am not wishing for another hurricane, just really frustrated. I am really having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. I have my Mary Kay that I have hardly touched, and I struggle to make myself go to the gym (luckily I have Tony to make me go!). My problem is that when I am home I just want to stay there. This storm has just really thrown me for a loop. I guess that I just need to jump in and force myself to start doing things again and maybe after I start I might find some motivation. Right now I am just looking forward to the long weekend for Thanksgiving and I am going to enjoy my turkey day and go and do plenty of shopping the next day!!!
