Music to Our Ears!!!!!

There is nothing quite like the sound of that baby's heart beating. It brought tears to my eyes. The nurse couldn't get a heartrate from the machine, and then she lost the heartbeat after about a minute, but she said that she thought that the heartrate was in the high 150's. She said that anything between 120 and 160 is good. It sounded like a little drum. It was beating so fast. That was definitely the high point of my day!! Tony was there with me as well, so he got to hear the heartbeat as well. Today makes 12 weeks, almost done with the first trimester!

Gulf Shores. Tony and I spent the weekend in Gulf Shores, and we had a great time. Saturday we went shopping. There is a maternity store in the outlet mall over there, and I spent an hour and a half trying on clothes. I can still get my pants on, but forget about buttoning or zipping them, that just makes them to uncomfortable. Sunday we just hung out on the Beach and in the condo. Monday morning I hung out on the beach with my Mom, and then we packed up and drove home. Overall it was a very relaxing weekend.

Gulf Shores Weekend!

This weekend Tony and I are going to Gulf Shores. My mom rented a condo over there, and invited us to come along. I am so excited, I love the beach. Plus there is the outlet mall in Foley that is not very far from there, so we will get to do some shopping too! Maybe I will buy some maternity pants. I bought some pants a size bigger a little over a month ago, and I am already starting to have to unbutton that top button!! I was hoping that I could hold out a little longer, but atleast maybe I will get a little bit of a break in the price of the clothes at the outlet mall.

I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday afternoon, and I am so excited. I think that we will get to hear the heartbeat at this one and I can't wait. It is so funny to me how much I look forward to these appointments. I went to the doctor, and I felt really good for a week or two(comforted that everything is going ok), and then I started to get really antsy for the next couple weeks waiting for it to be time for my appointment again. It is almost here. I will keep you posted!!!

Happy Anniversary To Us!!!!!

Tomorrow is our first wedding anniversary. I just can't believe that it has been a year already. I guess that time flies when your having fun. We don't really have any big plans, I think that we will probably just go out to eat (maybe Drago's or PF Chang's) and then maybe a movie. I think the most important thing is for us to just spend some quality time together.

I Have A Secret!!!

The picture above is our little peanut. I am 9 weeks pregnant (10 weeks wednesday!). I am due on December 13th (the perfect christmas present). Tony and I are both excited and nervous. I am one big ball of emotions these days. Just about everyday I find something to cry about. I think it is driving Tony crazy, not to mention the other symptoms that contribute to my craziness these days. I have been feeling ok, I was really nauceous (spelling?) for about 2 weeks, but since then I have been feeling better. Smells can still really turn my stomach, but it is much better than it was. I have also been really tired. It is everything I can do to make it through the work day, and then I just go home and hang out on the couch for the rest of the day.

Mother's Day. We had dinner at our house with our parents. We scanned the ultrasound picture and got prints at walmart and bought some cute pewter baby frames and wrapped them up. We made sure that everyone opened them at the same time. Everyone was so excited, and I don't think anyone was expecting it. It was a good day.
