Our little princess!!!

Tony and I found out yesterday that we will be having a little girl!! We are so excited. She weighs 13 ounces right now. The doctor said that everything looks good, she is right where she is supposed to be right now. (I have a video of the ultrasound that I would be more than happy to show off to anyone.) It was amazing, she was so active yesterday morning. Her hands were in little fists and it looked like she was throwing punches (my little boxer), and her feet were kicking away. We could see her face and her spine and ribs. It seems so much more real now, I still can't quite believe that I am having a little girl!! I really was expecting a boy, I guess my gut feeling was wrong, oh well. Deep down, I was hoping for a little girl. This makes the naming easier also because Tony and I didn't really agree on a boy's name. Her name will be Isabella Marguerite ( Marguerite was my grandmother's name, and we just really like Isabella). I am so excited, I just want to go buy something pink!!!

New York Trip

These are a few pictures from our New York trip. The first one is Time Square. The second one is of the funniest billboard that I have ever seen. The third one is the Statue of Liberty (but I bet you knew that already!). The fourth one is of Tony and I (do you like my head piece?) on the boat when we took a toor around the island. The fifth picture is in Central Park of Tony, Me, Ms. Jane (Tony's mom), my Mom, and Mr. Steve (my stepdad) (from left to right). We had an awesome time and I can't wait to go back. Next time I go I will try to stay for a full week. We were so rushed to see as much as possible in 3 days. If you are interested in seeing more pictures there are 2 links to photo albums on the right side of the page (there are plenty, Tony managed to take 336 pictures in 3 days!).

Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill Concert and updates

Concert Last night was the Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill concert in New Orleans. Tony did not come with me because we already have tickets to see them in Houston, TX in 2 weeks, so I went with his mom (Ms. Jane) and one of Tony's cousin's and his girlfriend. It was awesome! I can't wait to go back. Here are a few of the pictures I took. I will put a link to the rest of the pictures that I took on the side of the page later.
Dr. Appointment I went to the doctor last Thursday. The baby's heartrate was 158, and the nurse found it so fast this time. The doctor fussed at me a little because I have gained 10 lbs already, but I am also retaining some fluid in my legs, so I am supposed to be staying away from salty foods. I never realized how much salty foods that I ate until now, and it is so hard to give them up. I also had some blood drawn for some tests for the baby. One of them was for Spina Bifida and the other on was to test to see if I am a carrier of Cystic Fibrosis. I have to try to call back again tomorrow for my test results, they said that because of the holiday, my results are not in yet. I am not stressing out though, just waiting patiently. At my next appointment (which is at 20 weeks) I have an ultrasound scheduled. I have been telling the baby to keep those legs uncrossed, so we will see.
I will write about my New York trip later, when I have some pictures that I can show you.
