I am such a dummy!!

Yesterday morning I got to work only to realize that I had two different shoes on when I got there. They are the same style (I am not that off), but I had on one brown shoe and one black shoe!! I guess that is what I get for putting them on in the dark. I was so embarrassed, and we had a breastfeeding class at the hospital last night, so there was no time to go home to get new shoes, so I ended up begging Tony to stop and pick up a pair of shoes for me at home, so I didn't have to look like a crazy woman all night. You better believe that I checked this morning before I walked out of the door.

Doctor's Appointment Update

Yesterday's doctor's appointment went well. I have gained 8 pounds in four weeks, which brings me up to a grand total that I just don't want to talk about! I was completely shocked because I really thought that I was doing good. Oh well, all I can do is try harder. I am also supposed to be watching my salt intake to prevent my swelling from getting worse. Oh, and by the way she considers my swelling mild. How can it be mild, my shoes don't fit, and my ankles have disapeared!! The doctor put me on iron pills. She said that I am not anemic, but it is just a precaution because the baby is going to start taking a lot of iron from me. She also said that it might give me a little more energy (I am keeping my fingers crossed). The baby's heart rate was 155, which has been pretty consistent throught my pregnancy. Ok, so overall we are both doing really well. I will try not to complain too much because I really have had a good pregnancy up to this point.

Baby's Room Update

Tony finished laying the tile last week, and on Sunday he and Mark grouted the entire room, so all we have left to do is molding and doors, and a little bit of touch up painting (which I got the ok from my doctor to do myself as long as I open windows). The baby's furniture came in, and I think that we are going to go pick it up on saturday, I am so excited!!

My Ankles Are Officially Gone!!

Ok, so I don't really see that part of my body very often, so I am not sure how long my ankles have been missing, but I can't find them. I made the discovery last night as I was getting out of the shower. I started yelling for Tony and telling him that something happened to my ankles. Tony comes running, as if something were really wrong with me, and then just laughed at me when he relized what I was so upset about!! Ok, so maybe I shouldn't be so shocked because I have been having issues with swelling for months now, but I was. This is very depressing, I still have 8 weeks to go! So, if you find my ankles please let me know.
